Farah Naz

Global Climate Advisory Director

Farah Naz

A multi-award-winning climate change strategist, Chartered Engineer, Chartered Architect, and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Farah brings over 20 years of international experience across the US, UK, Southeast Asia, and the UAE. She is also the Global Climate Advisory Director at SJ and has been elected to the Board of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), a global network working with industry and governments to advance a more sustainable and resilient built environment.

Farah has led sustainability strategy for landmark projects including the Museum of the Future (UAE), Expo 2020 Sustainability Pavilion (UAE), Louvre Abu Dhabi (UAE), and Bee’ah Headquarters (UAE). She was also Technical Director for COP28, driving carbon-neutral delivery for the UAE COP28 Team and UNFCCC.

She is a LEED and WELL Accredited Professional, Verified Research Expert with the Dubai Future Foundation, and co-author of Net Zero City (UAE/UK) — a multidisciplinary framework for achieving net zero as well as Mission Zero (UAE) — a children’s book promoting climate awareness.  Farah’s work has earned awards such as Influential Woman of the Year 2024 (UAE) and Green Consultant of the Year 2023 (UAE). She continues to advance climate-responsive design and systems thinking across global cities and infrastructure.
