Shaping Hyderabad’s Fourth Urban Nucleus
Bharat Future City is a 13,500-acre masterplanned development envisioned by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) as Hyderabad’s fourth urban nucleus. Located in Mucherla, Ranga Reddy District, south of Hyderabad, the development is anchored by a Central Business District and includes dedicated districts for artificial intelligence, healthcare, sports and entertainment.
The master plan brings together industrial, commercial, residential and recreational uses, including specialised clusters for electronics, life sciences, EV and ESS, and data centres. Designed as a net-zero carbon city, Bharat Future City seeks to create an integrated environment where people can live, work, learn, innovate and play.
A cluster-based planning approach supports accessibility and connectivity across the development, while mixed-use neighbourhoods and innovation districts encourage collaboration and growth.
Environmental strategies such as ecological corridors, urban forestry, green belts and a sponge city framework have been incorporated to support environmental conservation, stormwater management and climate resilience.
