SJ and Kim Oanh Group unite to deliver in Southern Vietnam
SJ Group and Kim Oanh Group have entered a strategic cooperation to jointly work on residential projects, resorts, and office buildings in the southern region of Vietnam. Under the strategic cooperation, SJ Group will provide masterplanning, urban planning, and architectural design services for commercial and social housing projects that Kim Oanh Group is planning to develop in the third quarter of 2023.
The strategic cooperation with SJ Group marks a significant milestone for Kim Oanh Group since its establishment 15 years ago. Kim Oanh Group is leveraging SJ Group’s extensive experience in designing and delivering public homes in Singapore to adapt Singapore’s public housing development standards in Vietnam. SJ Group is renowned for its extensive contributions to social housing developments in Singapore, having built over one million homes, contributing to 80 per cent of the nation’s public housing.

Kim Oanh Group currently owns a land bank of about 500 hectares in vibrant development areas such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau and Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang). These are significant projects serving different market segments. Kim Oanh Group plans to develop 25,000 low-rise and high-rise social housing products in Binh Duong and Dong Nai Provinces, in response to the Vietnam government’s plan to build one million low-cost houses and social housing to improve the lives of the community. Kim Oanh Group is set to unveil its groundbreaking social housing project in Binh Duong Province in the third quarter of this year.
