SJ Group Ranks 14th Among Top Global Architecture Firms

Singapore, 20 January 2026 – SJ Group has been ranked 14th in the 2026 World Architecture 100 (WA100) ranking of the globe’s leading architecture and design firms, moving up three spots from 2025. According to the WA100 2026 survey, the Group has the highest number of architects in Southeast Asia, with over 600 architects across our global network.

Published annually by Building Design, WA100 is a definitive benchmark of global architecture excellence,  ranking the world’s largest architecture practices based on the number of fee-earning or registered architects employed.

As a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm, SJ is already recognised as one of the world’s top multidisciplinary consultancies. In 2025, the Group was ranked 24th in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 225 International Design Firms list, with  strong rankings across four major sectors – general building, transportation, power and environment – in ENR’s Global Sourcebook 2025.

The WA100 2026 ranking adds to the suite of design accolades achieved by SJ. Some of these prestigious awards in 2025 include:

SJ Campus, SJ’s global headquarters designed by SJ in collaboration with Safdie Architects, was honoured as Design of the Year at the President*s Design Award (P*DA) 2025. The P*DA is Singapore’s highest accolade for design, celebrating designs that uplift communities and respond creatively to evolving societal needs.

Geneo, designed by SJ in collaboration with Serie + Multiply Architects, won the MIPIM Asia Award (Gold) for Best Mixed-Use Project.

SkyResidence @ Dawson in Singapore won the World Design Awards 2025, an international award that recognises global excellence in architecture and design, celebrating projects that push boundaries in innovation, sustainability and community impact.

The Shenzhen Natural History Museum, designed by B+H in collaboration with 3XN and Zhubo Design, was awarded Silver at the International Design Awards.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) Design Award was conferred to Punggol Point Cove, along with the inaugural HDB Landscape Award for Whampoa Park.
